With our Erasmus+ project, we want to promote modelling-based learning in science education.
Empower is an Erasmus+ funded project that aims to advance science education in Europe through modelling-based learning. Modelling-based learningenables students to develop, apply, and communicate their understanding and theories about natural phenomena through the development and use of models. The project seeks to support teachers with learning units and training to implement modelling-based learning effectively in classrooms. Working along with teachers, the project seeks to identify teacher needs and create a theoretically-based framework, modelling-based learningteaching units, and online training for teachers.
