Es geh\u00f6rt der Leibniz-Gemeinschaft an, einem Zusammenschluss von mehr als neunzig deutschen Forschungseinrichtungen aus verschiedenen Disziplinen. Das IPN besch\u00e4ftigt sich speziell mit Fragen des Lernens und Lehrens von Naturwissenschaften, Mathematik und Informatik innerhalb und au\u00dferhalb von Schulen. Es konzentriert sich auf mathematische, naturwissenschaftliche und informatische Bildungsprozesse \u00fcber die gesamte Lebensspanne hinweg und ber\u00fccksichtigt dabei nicht nur das individuelle Umfeld, sondern auch Lerngruppen, Institutionen und Bildungssysteme. Die schulbezogenen Forschungsprojekte des IPN konzentrieren sich auf sch\u00fclerbezogene Fragen und auf die Professionalisierung von Lehrkr\u00e4ften, die Qualit\u00e4t des mathematischen, naturwissenschaftlichen und informatischen Unterrichts und die Bedingungen des Bildungssystems. <\/p>\n

Die Abteilung Didaktik der Biologie befasst sich mit grundlegenden Fragen des Lehrens und Lernens im Biologieunterricht sowie mit Fragen, die sich in Bildungskontexten durch die Anwendung neuer biologischer Erkenntnisse ergeben.<\/p>\n

Von 2013 bis 2021 arbeitete er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Dozent in der AG Didaktik der Biologie an der Freien Universit\u00e4t Berlin.In dieser Funktion entwickelte er regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Kurse f\u00fcr angehende Biologielehrkr\u00e4fte sowohl im Bachelor- als auch im Masterstudiengang, darunter Kurse zu Modellen und dem Modellieren im Biologieunterricht. <\/p>\n

Seit 2021 ist Moritz Krell stellvertretender Direktor der Abteilung Didaktik der Biologie am Leibniz-Institut f\u00fcr die P\u00e4dagogik der Naturwissenschaften und Mathematik (IPN) in Kiel und Professor f\u00fcr Didaktik der Biologie an der Christian-Albrechts Universit\u00e4t zu Kiel.<\/p>\n

Anschlie\u00dfend absolvierte sie im Sommer 2023 ihr Referendariat f\u00fcr das Lehramt an Gymnasien. <\/p>\n

Als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Doktorandin arbeitet sie seit Mai 2023 an dem von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) gef\u00f6rderten Projekt \u201eDiMCo\u201c (Untersuchung der Zusammenh\u00e4nge zwischen den Dimensionen der Modellierkompetenz, Projektnummer 510978671).<\/p>\n

Am IPN arbeitet sie an dem von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) gef\u00f6rderten Projekt \u201eMoKoKo\u201c (Modellierkompetenz im Kontext, Projektnummer 541190827). Das Projekt besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit dem Einfluss des Aufgabenkontexts auf die Modellierkomptenz angehender Biologielehrkr\u00e4fte. <\/p>\n

Von 2017 bis 2023 studierte sie Biologie und Englisch auf Lehramt an Universit\u00e4ten in M\u00fcnster und Newcastle und schloss ihr Studium im Sommer 2023 mit einem Master of Education ab.
