El Departamento de Ciencias de la Educaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de Chipre es un departamento extenso con 22 profesores y 35 profesores asociados o asistentes. Ofrece dos programas de pregrado (educaci\u00f3n primaria y preescolar), un programa de posgrado de educaci\u00f3n secundaria (que abarca todas las \u00e1reas de estudio de la educaci\u00f3n secundaria) y siete programas de posgrado de maestr\u00eda y doctorado (que incluyen educaci\u00f3n en ciencias, matem\u00e1ticas y tecnolog\u00eda). La Universidad de Chipre es la universidad de formaci\u00f3n docente m\u00e1s grande del pa\u00eds y la \u00fanica encargada de la formaci\u00f3n de profesores de educaci\u00f3n secundaria justo antes de su ingreso a la escuela. El personal de la UCY capacita a unos 100 profesores en pr\u00e1cticas al a\u00f1o, as\u00ed como a unos 100 profesores en activo, y actualmente lidera la reforma curricular del pa\u00eds. En Educaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica, y especialmente en nuestro grupo de investigaci\u00f3n ReSciTEG (Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n en Educaci\u00f3n en Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda), estamos activos en la investigaci\u00f3n sobre aprendizaje por indagaci\u00f3n, TIC, aprendizaje colaborativo asistido por computadora, Living Labs (ecosistemas de innovaci\u00f3n abierta), experimentaci\u00f3n de laboratorio f\u00edsica y virtual, modelado, desarrollo y evaluaci\u00f3n curricular de ciencias (incluyendo STEM), RRI, comprensi\u00f3n conceptual, formaci\u00f3n y desarrollo profesional docente, escuela abierta, evaluaci\u00f3n educativa y educaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica informal.     <\/p>\n<p>Los miembros de ReSciTEG cuentan con una amplia experiencia en aprendizaje por indagaci\u00f3n en entornos de educaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica formal e informal, aprendizaje permanente, dise\u00f1o de curr\u00edculos enriquecidos con tecnolog\u00eda en ciencias y educaci\u00f3n STEM\/STEAM, as\u00ed como en la formaci\u00f3n de docentes, tanto en pr\u00e1cticas como en formaci\u00f3n, sobre el uso de entornos orientados a la indagaci\u00f3n para la ense\u00f1anza y el aprendizaje de ciencias. Adem\u00e1s, cuentan con amplia experiencia en la evaluaci\u00f3n de habilidades relacionadas con los dominios cognitivo y afectivo. Por ello, el grupo ha participado activamente en evaluaciones tanto a nivel internacional como nacional. Por ejemplo, el grupo participa en el equipo responsable de la evaluaci\u00f3n PISA en Chipre. Asimismo, ReSciTEG ha participado en diversos programas de formaci\u00f3n docente sobre diversos temas (p. ej., dise\u00f1o y evaluaci\u00f3n curricular, evaluaci\u00f3n formativa y sumativa, evaluaci\u00f3n entre pares, aprendizaje de ciencias formal e informal\/no formal, aprendizaje asistido por ordenador, aprendizaje basado en la indagaci\u00f3n, uso de las TIC y otras aplicaciones innovadoras en la educaci\u00f3n STEM). Es licenciado en Educaci\u00f3n, m\u00e1ster en Aprendizaje en Ciencias Naturales y doctor en Aprendizaje en Ciencias Naturales, todos ellos por la Universidad de Chipre. Su investigaci\u00f3n se centra en el uso del modelado como herramienta de aprendizaje y enfoque did\u00e1ctico en la educaci\u00f3n en ciencias. Tambi\u00e9n se especializa en el dise\u00f1o y la validaci\u00f3n de materiales curriculares educativos destinados a fomentar el desarrollo profesional docente en las \u00e1reas STEAM. Es licenciada en F\u00edsica (Universidad de Chipre), m\u00e1ster y doctora en \u00abAprendizaje en Ciencias Naturales\u00bb (Universidad de Chipre). Ha participado en diversos proyectos nacionales y financiados por la UE (p. ej., MAKERSPACE, GINOBOT, Bridges, LfE).
