El FI a\u00fana experiencia en educaci\u00f3n en matem\u00e1ticas y ciencias, comunicaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, investigaci\u00f3n sobre aprendizaje y ense\u00f1anza, e historia y filosof\u00eda de las ciencias naturales. Esta amplia base sustenta la misi\u00f3n del instituto de fortalecer la comprensi\u00f3n y aplicaci\u00f3n de las ideas cient\u00edficas y matem\u00e1ticas por parte de los estudiantes.  <\/p>\n<p>El FI investiga y desarrolla innovaciones educativas en escuelas, universidades y contextos de aprendizaje informal. Su labor incluye el an\u00e1lisis del aprendizaje estudiantil, el apoyo al desarrollo profesional docente, el dise\u00f1o de materiales did\u00e1cticos y la contribuci\u00f3n al desarrollo curricular. El instituto tambi\u00e9n participa en iniciativas como U-Talent, el programa de la Universidad de Utrecht para estudiantes y docentes de secundaria.  <\/p>\n<p>Los grupos de investigaci\u00f3n y educaci\u00f3n del FI se centran en temas como el aprendizaje basado en la indagaci\u00f3n y modelos, las herramientas digitales y simulaciones, la comunicaci\u00f3n de la ciencia a p\u00fablicos diversos, la sostenibilidad y el papel del pensamiento cient\u00edfico y matem\u00e1tico en la sociedad. Su trabajo se centra en c\u00f3mo los estudiantes aprenden mediante modelos, simulaciones y enfoques basados \u200b\u200ben la indagaci\u00f3n en la educaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica. Con experiencia en f\u00edsica aplicada y ense\u00f1anza de f\u00edsica en secundaria, su investigaci\u00f3n se centra en c\u00f3mo los estudiantes aprenden f\u00edsica moderna utilizando modelos cient\u00edficos, matem\u00e1ticas y simulaciones. Imparte docencia en did\u00e1ctica de la f\u00edsica y ha participado en el desarrollo curricular como experta en educaci\u00f3n en f\u00edsica.
